Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
On a system which multiple monitors, supported by multiple graphic cards,
the on board graphic card needs to be blacklisted to prevent kernel panick during boot.
This is described by related bug
297234 Blacklist confused by additional video card
This prevents straightforward instalation of UBUNTU from liveCD disks.
On my system, with three monitors, the Hardy Heron with entry
blacklist agpgart
in /etc/modprobe.
worked OK. During upgrade, system became unbootable and files (listed in appendix) were listed as involved in the crash.
After installing the Lucid from the scratch (by removing extra graphic cards)
the following lines in /etc/modprobe.
