I have a strong feeling this is a duplicate of another bug I have in mind, but lets try a few things. First off attach your sources list to your next post. Thanks.

Changed in update-manager (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete
tags: added: lucid2maverick
removed: lucid

i can no longer access my system. It fails with a no init try passing init = bootarg. Any os that tries to read the partition hangs immediately.
