Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Using KPackageKit, selected to upgrade to maverick 10.10 from 10.4

Upgrade process launched normally, until it prompts that Third Party Sources have been disabled, and I can re-enable afterwards.

Then at Setting new software channels, it paused the progress bar at 99% and gave this error:
Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occured while calculating the upgrade; E:Error,, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages. This can be caused by: * Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu * Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu * Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu If none of this applies, then please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade in the bug report.

Also: I am new to upgrading Ubuntu. If there's a simple solution to my problem, please don't hesitate to let me know, but unfortunately I must request that the solutions be presented in simple steps.

Thank you to anyone who can aid me here, including by letting me know what extra information needs to be provided if any.
