Is this part of the same problem? I keep getting this message (screenshot) every time I access the Add/Remove list in Dapper Drake. It seems to reload the list every time I click Reload, but it seems to be a circular exercise. Catch 22?

This is fixed in feisty. The upgrader will update itself from the net when the CD is used and network access is available.
