Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

do-release-upgrade -m desktop -f kde -d
is the command I tried. It downloaded everything and then reported a possible circular dependency

E: Couldn't configure pre-depend openoffice.org-common for openoffice.org-report-builder, probably a dependency cycle.

It offered me to create an error report which I am doing here.

This is a known problem that affects all openoffice.org extension users. Update-manager should be patched to work around the dependency cycle. Marking as duplicate of bug 562948.

Sorry, I can't do that anymore, because I have solved it this way:

* uninstall openoffice completely (which caused thie funny dependency)
* upgraded to 10.10
* re-installed openoffice completely
