Could not upgrade from dapper to edgy

Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Tried to upgrade from dapper to edgy using
> sudo update-manager -c -d

It finished saying that it could not calculate the upgrade.
Attaching /var/log/dist-upgrade/* logs. (term.log is empty)
