error while upgrading from kubuntu 10.04 to 10.10

Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

when i try to upgrade from kubuntu 10.04 to 10.10 i get the error message:
'E:Couldn't configure pre-depend x11-common for x11-xkb-utils,
probably a dependency cycle.'

i was now able to upgrade by running

dpkg --force-depends --remove x11-xkb-utils
dpkg --force-depends --remove x11-common

before i started the upgrade!
everything works fine now with 10.10
