Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

I got an error when trying to upgrade a 32bit 10.04 release to the latest alpha 3 of meerkat. It was running in a Virtual Box VM on a windows machine. I have attached the screenshot of the error.

I started this upgrade by the update-manager -d option.

I expected the upgrade to complete successfully

I got the error screen that is included with this message.
