X crash when trying to download last linux-image.... changes!

Binary package hint: update-manager

open update-manager and then click on linux-image-2.5.15-27-k7_or_386.
this make crash X and you have to relog in with gdm

I tried to build a bugtrace with valgrind,my first time...understand me please...

It's really reproducible in my machine(i tried also with synaptic and it was the same)

I will attach this log made by valgrind and a dmesg

I use ubuntu 6,06 lts

valgrind.log.9793... i was not root...for this it was "broken"
