Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

I tried the instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LucidUpgrades/Kubuntu (namely entering 'update-notifier-kde -d' in the run command dialog box), and it went alright for a while (showed release notes, asked for a password, etc.) but then this came up during the "Setting new software channels" step.

My guess is that some newer xorg packages I installed are to blame, but, even if that's the case, I'm not sure how to deal with it.

I've attached the files in my /var/log/dist-upgrade/ folder.

Thanks for your bugreport.

Investigating xserver-xorg-video-all
Package xserver-xorg-video-all has broken Depends on xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
  Considering xserver-xorg-video-nouveau 1 as a solution to xserver-xorg-video-all 10004

For some reason -nouveau can not be installed
