This is not really a problem of the update-manager. The apt sources file has:

When I tried to browse the above url you see a "linux" directory and below that you have other linux distros including Ubuntu.

Someone need to contact Cytanet and inform them about this issue. What they need to do is move the "ubuntu" directory out of the "linux" parent and have the similar structure as http://uk.archive.ubuntu.com for example. Replacing the "cy" in the url with "uk" in the sources file everything works fine.

Unfortunately the ubuntucy team is not yet an official Ubuntu team and we cannot contact them directly.

I think it's fixed, cy.archive.ubuntu.com is working properly now (checked karmic and lucid repositories) -- can someone check again?

I confirm that it is fixed for all the supported releases (D, H->L)

Yes It works fine now
