Update-mananger replaces installed source packages with same version binary packages

Binary package hint: update-manager

When a package is built from source and installed, update-manager by default replaces the (presumably customized) package by the same version binary package.

This is called a "distribution update".

An installed package should by default only be replaced by a more recent version.
