Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Distribution upgrade from Kubuntu 9.04 to 9.10 fails to download the needed packages and closes.

I believe the problem was the servers being over loaded. I kept trying and eventually was able to download everything.
Then the installation locked up. I rebooted, but the system was broken, so I just installed from a 9.10 CD over my / partition.
I'm afraid the log files you're looking for are gone.
Thank you for looking into it though.
