Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
Error message obtained with an Ubuntu Spanish upgrade to version 9.10.
While update manager was in the second step, "configuring new channels of software" an error window is displayed saying: "Information about the packages not valid. After updating the packages informationn the esential package ubuntu-minimal does not appear any longer..."
