Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Seen twice during upgrade 9.04->9.10 Alpha 5:

When something inside of an update-manager upgrade crashes, an apport dialogue will appear that blocks GUI updates in update-manager. By default, this dialogue appears behind the blocked window.

Ideally *any* _modal_ dialogues should appear on top of their parent processes windows.

This sounds like a --xid option to apport is needed.
