Bug Description

The Update manager opens automatically when I'm using other applications. It's very annoying to have to close the window every time I log in. The pop-up window steals the input, which is very annoying if you're typing something. It can also makes the computer seem like it have locked up. If I for example have a full screen game open, it suddenly loses all input because the update manager window pop-ed up in the background. The game still has control of the screen, so the game seems to be locked up, even though it isn't.

The automatic pop-up was a change of the default setting from 8.10 to 9.04 and should be changed back again. It can manually be fixed by using the following command:
$ gconftool -s –type bool /apps/update-notifier/auto_launch false
