Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . Unfortunately I am not able to tell to which package this bug belongs to because you don't explain with what program you update your software. Could you please specify the correct package?

Okay, i've very new to Linux. This is the first Linux OS i have ever
used... The first time i installed it, it worked well. But i had to
reformat my drive to create better partitions, so i had to reinstall
it. I've succeeded in updating the software, but problem is now my
sound drivers aren't working... Could you help me out?

Thanks for your bugreport.

When did the error occur? Did it happen again? What command did you run then?

It occurred right after installation. I couldn't run any command. So as is
the norm, when confronted by a problem, i rebooted the computer, about
twice. Then finally the updater began working. But i still can't find
drivers for the sound card...
