Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Description: Ubuntu 7.10
Release: 7.10

doing the Distribution upgrade after installation from the live CD, using the entire disk of one of my old laptop (first try of kubuntu to compare to other linux distros)
only used what the installer suggested

note that before that the updates of packages mentionned errors and possible breaks in insalled packages
but !
no details, impossibleto know what was broken or not installed or badly installed

On the update-manager press "Check" to update the links needed for the upgrade, and try the upgrade again.
