Confirming. I will do sync requests for newer suomi-malaga and libvoikko first (now in Debian experimental), and then for openoffice.org-voikko 3.0 (not yet anywhere). |

So far done: uploaded suomi-malaga and libvoikko to debian experimental and made sync requests for them (bug 316783, bug 316787). Currently wondering what to do about openoffice.org-voikko, which would require a 3.0.1rc1 version to be compatible with openoffice.org 3.0.1 (changes in API between OOo 3.0 -> 3.0.1). Will probably upload either the rc version to debian experimental or wait for it to be named officially released. |

Binary package hint: update-manager
Right now, if I try to upgrade from intrepid to hardy, using "do-release-manager -d", it fails, because of openoffice.org-voikko, which conflicts with openoffice.org greater than the version in intrepid. The package needs integration with openoffice.org 3.0, and that hasn't happened yet.
update-manager should deal with this in some sensible way, which includes at least reporting which package is causing the problem, so that the user may decide whether to remove it before continuing.
Thanks. |

Marking Invalid for update-manager.
suomi-malaga and libvoikko were acked some time ago, but they haven't been acted upon by the archive administators. On Monday evening I uploaded the corresponding new openoffice.org-voikko to Debian experimental, and now made a sync request about it, too (bug #319334).
After all of those three are in Ubuntu, this bug will be fixed. |

All are now synced, openoffice.org-voikko works fine and this bug can be marked "Fix Released". Thanks go to ubuntu-main-sponsors and archive administrators for the approval and syncing. |
