Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

hi,
during the upgrade process from my 7.10 Distribution to the offered 8.04 LTS in the upgrade manager
the upgrade manager is unable to upgrade my system and stopped telling me the I should report this to the community.
I'm including the files recommended in order to provide you hopefully the information necesary to fix them...

If you have any further question please let me know it because I'd be really happy to contribute resolving this issue with you guys.

Thanks in Advance
Andreas
