Upgrade problem

Upgrading Kubuntu to version 8.10 exit with error:

W:Failed to fetch ftp://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/intrepid/Release Unable to find expected entry partner/binary-i386/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)
, E:Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I'm sory but i resolve this problem for me...I'm not sure how (i
forget)..Sory!
In this moment i have upgraded to Ubuntu 8.10 version... All is ok and
work perfectly.
