Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

I was fixing a friend computer who had Ubuntu Studio 7.10.
He tried to upgrade it to 8.04 but he told me it crashed.
When I went to fix his computer, the upgrade was not completed.
When I tried to finish the upgrade, the update-manager
asked me to do a partial installation, but after downloading,
he told me it was enable to do it, type "dpkg --configure -a".
I did it but nothing happened. To fix the problem I type the
following commands:
rm /etc/apt/source.list~
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude safe-upgrade
sudo aptitude full-upgrade
sudo aptitude update
