Upgrade tool crashed - upgrading from kubuntu 7.10 to 8.04

Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Ran the update manager in Kubuntu 7.04, left it running, came back to it and a window was displayed saying the upgrade tool had crashed and to report a bug. Here's the log info from the window:

CacheExceptionDpkgInterrupted: E:dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

Not sure what package this would apply to.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you please add the log files from '/var/log/dist-upgrade/' to this bug report as seperate attachments? The Files term.log and apt.log are missing.Thanks in advance.
