Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
I launched the update-manager from the menu without any options. It did not show that a new version of Ubuntu is out.
This happens only when I lauch it from the terminal with
sudo update-manager -d

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Do you update your system before trying to upgrade? It doesn't look like you had the most recent version of update-manager - which would know that Hardy was out. Thanks in advance.
