Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

This was generated automatically by update manager in the process of upgrading from Gutsy to Hardy. So I have no idea what happened or what should have happened. The same installation produced a bug report for linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24, which is possibly the root problem. I'll finish this report off and put its number in that report so you can cross reference them.

This usually happens when dpkg was interrupted while it was working. If it's still an issue then please open a terminal window and run the following command:
sudo dpkg --configure -a
