Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

I just upgraded to 8.04 from 7.10 and I'm getting bombarded with requests from the new crash report utility to log my crashes to the Ubuntu website, so here I am.

I notice that there are quite a few bugs that look very similar to this one, the only difference is they have different version numbers, so I guess I'll log this as a new bug and let someone more experienced decide if it's a duplicate of another bug or not. :)

I upgraded using the 'Update Manager' update method over the Internet.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

Are you kidding? This was a bug I experienced while upgrading from 7.10 to 8.04. How exactly do you propose I "try with the latest Ubuntu release?"

Sorry for the boilerplate message. I'm closing this report because it is not a issue anymore and the problem cannot be reproduced.
