Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
Probably not bug of update-manager but of the upgrade process in general:
on installation of packages where a conffile has been change manually by the user, e.g. /etc/bash.bashrc, the installer asks whether the old or new confffile is to be used
these questions should all be asked at one point in the installation process, e.g. after installing all updates. And not (as it is done now) at random times during the installation.
Because the installation can not be left unattended for longer periods of time: you have to sit and wait for such questions to appear. Otherwise the installation will stall until you come back.

Confirmed. This one annoys me too. Not a top priority this close to release but I'll add it to the wishlist for later
