Feisty to Gutsy upgrade

Today apr.4 2008, the upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy aborted.
I used internet to upgrade, and after 1.5 day it aborted.

It took one and a half days to upgrade?? You shouldn't have waited so long.. Normally it should take a few hours.

My internet is not faster. Bdw I don't want to use the install cd in fear my personal data might be destroyed.
