The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding update-manager. This problem was most recently seen with package version 1:23.10.1, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/dff72cd5c27c916b2d887a56311ba08ef15b0dff contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.

I believe this seems like a pygobject issue for desktop to investigate, probably a type declared wrong somewhere?
