fail to parital upgrade with the update manager

Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

when logging in, the update manger demand updating from the available 48 update. Telling that I have to make a partial upgrade to be able to continue with the update process.

-When pressing the partial update button, the following message appears :

A unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the bugreport.

was apt.log the only file in /var/log/dist-upgrade? If you still have the files main.log, term.log or apt-term.log could you attach those as well. Also, what version of ubuntu are you running?
