Bug Description

I ran the following command (with the Ubuntu 7.10 i386 alternate CD)...
$ gksu "sh /cdrom/cdromupgrade"

I get the following message...
--------------------------------------------------------------
Could not calculate the upgrade

A unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the bugreport.
--------------------------------------------------------------

After this the distribution upgrade just rolls back.

Have attached the files that were requested.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Looking at your log files it seems that you choose not to use the network for package upgrades and because you 'language-support-hi' installed, which isn't on the CD you have, the upgrade is failing. If you enable using the network your upgrade should proceed successfully. Please give this a try and let us know what happens. Thanks in advance.
