Bug Description

Update-manager crashed - fatal -

Updating Ubuntu Focal 20.04.4 to Ubuntu Jammy 22.04 the upgrader crashed - about 75% through the upgrade the system crashed and screen went blank - cursor hung - blinking in upper left hand corner -
no error messages -

Tried to rebort and received message "Oh no! Something has gone wrong."

The machine tested - AWOW NY41 – Int.Cel. J4125

I was able to access the hard drive on the AWOW NY41 machine and will attach log files from /var/log/dist-upgrade please advise if other logs would be more helpful

No /var/crash was empty - I will be testing this again on another machine soon.

This is likely a duplicate of 1962036 so I'd wait to test until the new version of dbus is in the release pocket.

Tested on Dell Optiplex 7040 04-04-2022 upgrade completed with no errors.
