Bug Description

After updating Hardy Heron Alpha 5 I found that the Linux restricted hardware drivers were suddenly no longer available.
Somehow, these drivers were automatically uninstalled.

Solution:

Reboot, press Escape when the Ubuntu menu appears, then select the "generic" kernel (instead of the "386" kernel) and continue.

Once you're in Ubuntu, load the Synaptic Packet Manager and install the "linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24-8-386".
After installation, reboot normally and you'll find the restricted drivers available, again, once you're back in Ubuntu.

Cheers.

The -386 kernel package was probably installed by mistake, the -generic kernel should be used instead. This has been fixed and should not happen anymore.
