software updater asks for confirming updates, does not show packages

with this attitude you can install the updates without asking... still I would be feeling better knowing what is happening.
please see attached screenshot showing the software updater window asking for 54 MB worth of packages to download but does not list any of them.
I hope that points 1 and 2 are solved by ubuntu-bug,
3: expectations are to see what is requested to be updated
4: *nothing* is requested to be updated with 54 MB worth of download.
