Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
My system doesn't look perfectly stable; I tried to update it to fix the "uncertainties" it manifests. When updating, update manager suggested me there was a new release of Kubuntu, Gutsy Gibbon. I 'm already working on a Gutsy Gibbon installation. But I accepted in order to fix my problems. Update manager downloaded the new release then stopped saying the system is already updated.

It happened to me too. Fist when I tried a (really quick & dirty upgrade without uninstalling tons of 3rd-party software & repositories) the system did upgrade but was quite unstable (go figure) so I did a new fresh install, as my /home is a separate partition. Now the system is up and running again but update manager keeps suggesting to upgrade to the new release.
