[apport] update-manager crashed with SystemError in fetchDistUpgrader()

Binary package hint: update-manager

I am french, so sorry for my bad english
I am running on feisty, and I have run update manager from a terminal (with this command : sudo update-manager -c )
But it freeze, (I don't for what) so I kill it by a CTRL+C
In the terminal I get this one :

Very similar issues here, discovered whilst attempting to upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy...

I checked my "/var/lib/update-manager/meta-release" file and it's fine.

Any ideas?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
