Comment 50 for bug 153980

I've been trying to update my Itanium workstation to Gutsy for quite some time now. I even tried a 'clean' install only to roll back to Feisty. Every time I try to upgrade IA64 to Gutsy, I see following messages:

"Getting upgrade prerequisites failed
The system was unable to get the prerequisites for the upgrade. The upgrade will abort now and restore the original system state.
Please report this as a bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the bugreport."

After following bug report's suggestion, I go to /var/log/dist-upgrade and this is what I see:

There is no 'bugreport.*'. I guess, this is another "bug" to report. In any case, main.log reports this:
