update-manager -d fail to install several packages upgrading from feisty to gutsy

Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

All these packages wasn't installed trough update-manager -d upgrade. I think it is an issue with Gutsy packages or scripts.

An upgrade of a VMware install of feisty to the gutsy release candidate worked however the same type of upgrade on a dell latitude laptop that has been more extensively modified and used failed with multiple dependency errors. many packages are no longer viable including the upgrade-manager. Files from /var/log/dist-upgrade are attached.
