Bug Description
When running sudo apt-get update on Precise and Trusty, the process times out. I ran sudo strace apt-get update and that provided possibly useful feedback:
read(6, "400 URI Failure\nURI: http://
stat("/
read(6, "400 URI Failure\nURI: http://
stat("/
stat("/
stat("/
I tried navigating to the relevant url, and it seems that the files and the expected directory structure are not there:
http://
This appears to be related to mongodb.
This doesn't appear to be a network issue and it has been ongoing since Thursday (I'm reporting the bug on Monday)

Add that this is happening in both Trusty and Precise.
