Bug Description

If a file is updated which differs from the original file, the option to see the
difference between files i given.
This will show the diff between the installed file and the to-be-installed one.
The format is just like any diff file, and is not too clear for n00bs like me ;).
I was thinking showing the diff in a similar fashion as meld (two columns,
colours n stuff) might improve the overview of the changes.

Thanks for your bugreport.

Meld is something I would love to integrate. My idea was to let you speficiy a
(optional) external application that can do the diffing for you (like meld) :)

This is something for breezy (but it shouldn't be too hard to do).

Cheers,
 Michael

yes, an option to choose what program to use is even better, looking forward to
it :)

I think specifying an external app (like Meld, which is great though) goes against being user-friendly. I think it would be better if the default diff view had colours (green for new, red for old) or something alike.

Cheers
