blank updates screen

The "Software Updater" screen pops up telling me theres updated software, but nothing is listed in the software box or the technical/description boxes. Everything is just blank. So I go ahead and "install", it does some stuff, and then goes back to the screen again. I use the terminal for upgrades 99% of the time with apt update and apt upgrade and apt dist-upgrade and that will install updates fine. But still I get this software updates window every once in a while. I have attached a picture. Im running xubuntu 15.04.

This sounds a lot like the following bug which was fixed a while ago.
