From the Traceback.txt:
File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/UpdateManager/UpdateManager.py", line 122, in saveDistUpgrade
    assert self._depcache.BrokenCount == 0 and self._depcache.DelCount == 0
AssertionError

Changed in update-manager:
status: Confirmed → Triaged

This assert should never be triggered, the code back then might have triggered it if the apt cache had a initial broken count for some reason, but now it should not happen anymore. Are there any more recent reports on this? If not I think this should be marked as fixed.
