Gutsy Tribe 5 update-manager gives "Could not calculate the upgrade" error

Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

When attempting to directly upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy from the AMD64 alternate installation cd, the update-manager fails and gives a "could not calculate upgrade" error.

Thanks for your bugreport.

it looks like the language packs you have installed cause those problems. Could you please try to run the upgrade with network support and see if that helps?

Enabling network support simply causes the cdrom update script to close without any messages.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
