Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you please add the log files from '/var/log/dist-upgrade/' to this bugreport as attachments to your bug report? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for this log file. Is there a additional "main.log" ? Or a file /var/log/apt/term.log? Both would be good to have to diagnose the problem better.

Thanks,
 Michael

enzito75,

hi, you reported a bug about upgrading Ubuntu in 2007. Have you still had the problem? The log files you reported don't seem to have been useful in tracking down the problem, and no-one else seems to have the same problem. It was also a long time ago, for Ubuntu development.

Because of this, I would like to mark this bug as closed, since there does not seem be any hope of finding out exactly what happened, and it doesn't help Ubuntu development to keep mysterious bugs open for many years, if no progress is made in debugging them.

If you disagree, please do re-open the bug, or if you prefer, ask me to do it and I'd be glad to do it instead.
