Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
looks like bug 107188 : memory allocation error while having plenty of ram and swap.
Before upgrade : uninstalled packages from medibuntu and deactivated repo, idem for beryl, no update of kde from edgy default version ...
my list of installed packages may be different (I'm a network tools programmer), so... if this can help...
