custom keyboard shortcuts lost after upgrade to 12.10

I have upgraded from 12.04 to 12.10.
The custom keyboard shortcuts I had defined have been lost.

I was asked about whether to keep or replace a couple of files during the upgrade process, but none of them mentioned keyboard shortcuts
