Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

I've been attempting for several days to upgrade my relatively-recent (less than a month old) Edgy installation to Feisty Fawn, without any success. Despite having the most recent versions of all packages, including update-manager 0.45.4, and having taken the remediation steps suggested in bug #78673, I still receive the following error messages to STDERR when attempting the upgrade:

root@colhq-ddevoe:/etc/apt# update-manager -c
warning: could not initiate dbus
extracting '/tmp/tmpRjTsdC/feisty.tar.gz'
authenticate '/tmp/tmpRjTsdC/feisty.tar.gz' against '/tmp/tmpRjTsdC/feisty.tar.gz.gpg'
exception from gpg: GnuPG exited non-zero, with code 131072

Daniel,
you are correct this seems to be a duplicate of bug 78673 I'm leaving a comment for the maintainer. Setting status to confirmed on the basis of duplication.

Michael Vogt - 78763 is marked as fix released but this looks like the same bug to me.
