update-manager hangs trying to install downloaded packages. I can't install or uninstall anything.

Ok, I found the reason why it hangs... When installing new updated packages with update-manager a configuration of keyboard-
Workaround is simple:
sudo apt-get upgrade
from the terminal and setting up the keyboard-
But it is still an issue, especially for the average user.
