Bug Description

Message in pop-up:
"Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade:
The package 'postgresql-8.4-postgis' is marked for removal but it is in the removal blacklist.
This can be caused by:
*upgrading to a pre-release verson of Ubuntu
*running the current pre-release version of ubuntu
*unofficial software packages not provided by ubuntu
If none of this applies, then please report this bug using the command 'ubuntu-bug update-manager' in a terminal."

Have done last step.
Was upgrading from 10.04 lts to 12.04.1 lts and had done a full update of 10.04 before attempting upgrade.

Cannot recall doing anything special for postgres installations on my box, regular updates of ubuntu seemed to be OK doing postgres stuff when it was there in updates.

attempted to attach log files as requested but there is about a dozen and attachment option below only allows one???

some files may appear with same name but were from different sub-directories in log directory. dates/times appeared to relate to my upgrade attempt. a couple of files owned by root with no read or write access for others could not be attached.
