Bug Description
I have recently upgraded to the Quanatal kernel ( 3.5.0-3-generic) in Precise, and I check for updates manually in update-manager (1:0.156.14.5), so after manually refreshing update manager (with the "Check" button) I was shown a list of updates, and installed them (with the "Install Updates" button). I expected the program to show the pop-up window and the main window to turn to an inactive window as it has always NORMALLY done. However, the window does not pop up, nor does the window become inactive. The Unity Launcher does indeed show the 'progress bar'. So as I am unsure if the updates are happening correctly I again click "Install Updates". The updates install and everything works. So this is a minor bug. I will check to see if the updates will install normally without clicking again, and I will check to see if it is indeed only when I manually refresh the available updates (by clicking the "Check" button).
